teamwork is best practice

effective and ethical ketamine treatment

When Anesthesia teams up with Behavioral Health it equals client best outcomes

The responsibilities of the medical professional include: assessing the patient’s physical condition before ketamine treatment; attending to the physical and medical safety of the patient during ketamine treatment; and assessing and treating any adverse reactions during the course of ketamine treatment.

Professionals involved with the administration of ketamiine are encouraged to work on self, using the modality for personal mystical experiential growth. “If the wounded healer does NOT work on their own wounds, they become the wounded wounder, keeping the client and themselves trapped in their roles and can only meet the client as far as one met his or herself.”

The responsibilities of the patient include:

communicating clearly and honestly with the care team;

and

ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING in the integrative treatment plan as much as possible.
